Marium Naqvi

Marium is a pharmacist with a specialist interest in interstitial lung disease. She is a King’s Health Partners Centre for Translational Medicine pre-doctoral clinical research fellow exploring the use of artificial intelligence to enhance home monitoring of interstitial lung disease. Research interests include the psychological impact of disease, adherence to therapy and the use of digital technology to improve patient outcomes and access to specialist care. To improve patient accessibility to specialist care, Marium is working on care pathways, guidelines and provision of education and training. Marium is an independent prescriber who manages a complex cohort of patients, including medication review, optimisation of therapies and managing the monitoring and supply of high risk and/or cost medicines.
