Sajitha Abraham

Sajitha Abraham is an Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) Nurse Specialist and Independent Prescriber at North Bristol NHS Trust, Bristol. She has been working with the ILD team since 2022 and brings over 18 years of critical care nursing experience to her current role.

Sajitha is dedicated to providing holistic, patient-centred care for people living with ILD and works closely within the multidisciplinary team to support patients through education, symptom management, and palliative care. She has a particular interest in empowering patients to manage their complex needs, especially their palliative care needs, while living with a life-limiting respiratory illness.

She is passionate about improving patient experience and outcomes through service development, education, and the sharing of best practice.She is committed to supporting patients and their families throughout their ILD journey and ensuring care is aligned with what matters most to them.
