The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust are excited to announce two upcoming events in January 2025 that will provide invaluable insights and hands-on experience in bronchoscopy, artificial intelligence, and robotics in thoracic medicine led by Professor Pallav Shah.
School of Bronchoscopy Workshop: Mastering Bronchoscopy, 20th January 2025
Day 1: Bronchoscopy Module
- Location: Royal Marsden Education & Conference Centre, London
- Details: This module covers the fundamentals and advanced techniques of bronchoscopy, including indications, anatomy, sedation, sampling techniques, and complication management.
Day 2: EBUS, Robotics & Therapeutic Bronchoscopy Module, 21st January 2025
- Location: Royal Marsden Education & Conference Centre, London
- Details: This module explores the latest in EBUS, robotic bronchoscopy, and therapeutic techniques with live case demonstrations and practical workshops.
Artificial Intelligence and Robotics for Lung Conference, 22nd January 2025
- Location: Royal Marsden Education & Conference Centre, London
- Details: This conference will showcase how AI and robotics are revolutionising lung disease diagnosis and treatment through cutting-edge sessions and multidisciplinary approaches.
They are also running the popular Introducing the Science Behind Targeted Treatments and Immunotherapies for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) study day on 29th April 2025, which is ideal for research nurses, clinical nurse specialists and nurses involved in the diagnosis and treatment of people with lung cancer.
