Call for Participation: Study on Pulmonary Fibrosis Outcomes

We are pleased to share an opportunity for respiratory healthcare professionals to participate in a crucial study entitled Co-designing a Core Outcome Set for and with patients with Pulmonary Fibrosis (COCOS-IPF), with a particular emphasis on increasing nurse participation.

This study aims to identify the key health aspects in the care of individuals with progressive pulmonary fibrosis (PPF) and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) using a Delphi consensus methodology. Our research team has compiled an extensive list of potential health aspects relevant to patients with IPF/PPF. However, the list’s length makes it impractical for routine clinical use.

We seek the expertise of respiratory healthcare professionals to help refine this list, ensuring that the most critical health aspects are addressed in clinical care across Europe. Your insights and experience are invaluable, as you are uniquely positioned to understand and represent the diverse needs of individuals with PPF/IPF. Participation is possible in English, Spanish, Turkish, Hungarian, or German and will involve three sessions, each lasting approximately 30 minutes.

If you are interested in contributing, please visit https://www.cocos-ipf.com/ for more information and submit your contact details on this page: https://www.cocos-ipf.com/get-involved/get-involved. Our research team will follow up with interested participants soon.

Your participation could significantly impact the care and management of pulmonary fibrosis. We sincerely hope you will consider contributing to ensure that the voices of those who manage and treat patients with PPF/IPF are heard and represented in clinical care.

If you have any questions or require additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me at sofie.breuls@kuleuven.be.
