Anti-fibrotic drugs are still relatively new to the treatment of IPF, and there are many things that need to be considered before commencing treatment (and for those that have already started). ILD-INN and Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis (APF) have teamed up to produce easy to read leaflets for both professionals and patients regarding the 2 drugs available for the treatment of IPF at this time.
These leaflets are designed to help you understand the treatments and how they work, also it will make you aware of the side effects of these drugs and what to advise/look out for. They will also point you in the direction of further help or reading should you need it.
