We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding nationally commissioned ILD service as a part-time Band 6 ILD Nurse within the respiratory and allergy service at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust providing services across three sites at Charing Cross, Hammersmith and St Mary’s Hospital.
Working as part of the multi-disciplinary team along-side our consultants and under the supervision of our Band 7 ILD CNS, you will be expected to support the nursing service to provide the best nursing care for patients referred to our tertiary specialist ILD and sarcoid service promoting optimum health and support for patients.
You will need to have a broad range of respiratory knowledge including ILD and the skills to be able to support patients throughout their care pathway from diagnosis through to end- of-life.
As this is an evolving service, the role demands the ability to be enthusiastic and motivated to learn, to be flexible and a proactive team player. With the full support of our team, you will also need to be able to work independently to support a case-load of patient’s including working in nurse-led clinics.
