Contract: 10-12 hours per week; £20 per hour (negotiable)
Start: 1 April 2021
Location: Home based, with occasional travel to the national office in Peterborough (once pandemic restrictions lift)
Currently the service operates from 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday and calls for the Support Line Adviser would be scheduled by agreement.

Are you passionate about ensuring that no-one has to face pulmonary fibrosis alone? Could you help patients and carers find the support they need from diagnosis and throughout the course of the disease process? We are looking for an exceptional candidate to be our Support Line Adviser, so that many more people find the reassurance, information and signposting which helps them to manage the challenges that life with PF brings.
In the UK, 70,000 people live with pulmonary fibrosis, a progressive life-changing condition which limits a person’s breathing, mobility and daily life. There is no known cure and little support for anyone affected by the disease who can feel very alone and anxious. We are determined to change that, by funding research to find a cure, campaigning for access to treatments, and providing information and peer support, including our network of telephone support volunteers, so that no-one has to face PF alone.
You might be a health professional such as a respiratory nurse, physiotherapist or occupational therapist, have a counselling background or significant experience of responding on a helpline or similar service in the charity sector.
