Sally Singh is Professor of Pulmonary and Cardiac Rehabilitation at the University of Leicester. She is the Director of the Centre of Exercise and Rehabilitation Science within the Biomedical Research Centre – Respiratory. Her research interests focus on the development of outcome measures to evaluate both cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation (including measures of exercise capacity and measures of health status). More recently the focus of the research team has been on the development and understanding of alternative forms of rehabilitation, this includes the offer of digital rehabilitation programmes in cardiac rehabilitation. From a service perspective the current challenge is the development of a breathlessness-based rehabilitation programme.
